Dear Mary's,
I just wanted to send you an email telling you how wonderful your
designs are.
I live in Australia, and when my husband asked me to marry him, I think
I was like every woman in the world, I went out and bought every wedding
magazine there was, and hunted for the dress of my dreams. Australia is
a hot country and we were due to be married in march, our summer, and I
had my vision of my dress, I had pitched it to several different dress
makers and they all said that it would be too hard and cost me thousands
of dollars. Of course I did not have that. One day when I had just
about given up, I was flicking through an American wedding magazine for
reception ideas and there was this amazing dress, it was stunning, I
showed it to my family and friends, not my fiancee of course, and they
knew I was in love with it. It was amazing, but then I realized it was
an American design, we did not have any distributors here in
Australia!!!!! I was crushed!!! I decided to see how much it would
cost anyway, just out of curiosity, and it was a lot cheaper than some
of the very basic dresses that our wedding boutiques were selling over
here, so I got on the net and made sure they could do my size, and 4
weeks later after numerous late night phone calls (time difference) and
I received a customs notice, I received my dress!!!! It was everything
I had wanted it to be and more.!!!! I am so thankful that I could get it
sent from America to here, It was just amazing, I thank you at marys soo
very much, you made my day!

My name is Heather Painter and my husband Christopher and I were engaged on his birthday on March 14th 2005 and married July 2nd 2006. I would like to express my sincere thanks for designing the beautiful dresses we chose for our wedding party. The instant I tried on style #S058507, I knew it was the dress that was going to make my elegant princess bride dream come true! It was only the second dress I tried on and my mother, grandmother and myself all began to cry as I walked out of the fitting room and exclaimed “This is the one.” In fact, I loved my dress so much that we ordered the bridesmaids dresses and flowergirl/minuature bride dress through Mary’s as well to accent my wedding dress beautifully. What really made your dresses stand apart though,. was how the shawl and purse were included with purchase. My bridesmaids and myself appreciated not having to try to find matching purses and we all felt the dresses were very reasonably priced. The retailer we purchased from was very kind, courteous and did everything she could to make the dresses fit each of us perfectly. My husband and I had a truly wonderful, blessed, wedding day and I truly was the princess bride I had always dreamed of being as a little girl. Thank you, and I hope that your dresses continue to make future brides’ weddings as magical and beautiful as ours was... Christopher and Heather Painter :)![]() ![]()
My husband Wyatt and I were married on September 2, 2006. We were engaged on that day in 2005 and I had bought my dress by the end of the month...so I had to wait for 11 months before I could wear it! All brides are complimented on their wedding day but the compliments I received were all about my dress!
It fit perfectly, and made me feel beautiful. The
pocket came in very handy for the ceremony, as well!
My
husband and I tied the knot on Saturday, June 4th of 2005. We had a
beautiful summer wedding amongst a small group of close friends and
relatives. Planning our wedding was so much fun. My husband and I did
almost everything ourselves and we made sure to add personal touches on
everything from the invitations to the favors to the banquet hall. We made
the most out of the entire planning process because we knew that we were
preparing for one of the most important days in our lives. In the end, my
husband and I decided on a
black and white color scheme, we chose not to have a huge wedding party
and maintained the guest list under 100, and we wanted to keep things
simple yet elegant. We did not fret over silly things like making sure
that everything matched. For instance, our parents, the Maid of Honor,
and the Best Man all toted different types of flowers. The colors that we
chose for each flower was a color that we linked to match their
personality. My husband and I made sure that our wedding was a reflection
of who we were as a couple. As
soon as we began to plan our wedding, I knew knew that I wanted to wear a
Mary's bridal gown. When I was a teenager, my mother would bring home a
variety of bridal magazines from the expos held at The Merchandise Mart
(here in Chicago). I would look through each magazine, clip out my
favorite dresses, and save them in a folder. Most of my clippings were of
Mary's bridal gowns. They were so beautiful, elegant, and detailed. I
loved the embroidery and the sequence. The brides looked like princesses.
I always dreamed about having a Mary's dress to wear on my special day. When
I began searching for the perfect dress I had absolutely no luck in finding
a Mary's bridal gown. Every other part of planning our wedding was easy
except the search for the perfect dress. After searching for about 2 months
I settled on a dress that was close to what I was looking for. It was
pretty and I figured that it would work for my special day. But two weeks
before my wedding, I went into the bridal shop for my last dress
fitting. I remember standing in front of the mirror feeling disappointed
because I wasn't satisfied with the design or fit. The dress was nice but
just not for me. Something about it did not make me happy. As I was changing out of the dress, my mother came running into the fitting room with a wedding gown in her arms. She had searched the racks and found the most beautiful bridal gown ever! It was perfect. And it just so happened to be a Mary's bridal gown! I tried on the dress and fell in love. It had the most elegant details. I immediately changed my gown and I am so happy that I did. I thank my mother for finding my dress. She is my lucky charm. The only downfall about a last minute dress swap was that the bridal boutique
did not have enough time to make serious alterations on my dress. Instead,
we settled on some clear straps to keep my dress from falling. Hey, it
worked and that's all that mattered. ;)On my wedding day, I felt like such a princess. I was marrying the man of my dreams and felt the happiest that I ever have in my life. And I wore such a beautiful dress. All night long I received such lovely compliments about my dress. And, the groom could not take his eyes off of me which was such a major compliment. As my husband and I celebrate many anniversaries to come this will definitely be a story that I will share with our children. I would love to wear this dress again at one of our milestone anniversary celebrations. I am looking forward to it. ;)
Thank you,
My husband
and I just renewed our wedding vows this past weekend in celebration of
our 20th wedding anniversary. We renewed our vows at the 2006
Wisconsin Highland Games, and had about 200 kilted guests, including
friends, family and lots of people who just came for the Games and came
over to join us for the celebration. I had so many compliments on
my dress (style S034814) that I could not count them all! At least
a dozen little girls asked to have their picture taken with "the
princess" after the ceremony.
We had a
beautiful day, and I confess, I liked my Mary's Bridal dress even better
than the dress I wore at our wedding 20 years ago!

From the day I got engaged, I
couldn't wait to find my dress. I
immediately went out and bought every bridal magazine in the
newsstand. I couldn't
find anything I liked so as the magazines came out, I kept looking.
Finally I spotted a dress. It was the P.C. Marys Style 5185 from the
summer collection. I fell in love. Even with two years to go, I wanted
to find this dress, just in case it went out of style by my wedding for
2005.
I went to a local bridal shop
which deals with many major companies, and they didn't carry P.C.Marys.
I must have cried that whole week.
Browsing other boutiques, no one
had P.C.Marys. I thought maybe it was a company out of state.
FINALLY, I found a place, about
an hour and a half away from my home that carried P.C.Marys. I was
THRILLED. I jumped in my car with my mom by my side, and drove. I
brought the picture of "my gown" to the sales woman and she tells me,
"Oh, we have that dress in the back, let me go get it." Now I am a Plus
size girl, so I was worried it wouldn't fit. She pulls out this dress
and I didn't get the same feeling as I did when I saw it in the
magazine. I figured it was because I hadn't tried it on.

As I begin to dress, It still doesn't seem right. I wasn't happy with
it, It wasn't for me. I stand in the middle of the boutique, in this
beautiful gown that costs probably more than my rent and I wasn't happy.
As my mother is crying cause her little girl is getting married, I
looked down to see the price. There was none, but there was a style
number, and it wasn't the one to my gown. At that moment I was relieved.
I knew it wasn't my dress from the moment I saw it. So I tell the sales
woman and she tells me, well this is close enough. Annoyed at her, I go
into the dressing room, put my clothes on, and leave without saying a
word.
As I am
getting to my car, I begin to cry. I looked up and saw a sign, for
another bridal shop around the corner. I get out of my car and start
running. My mother thinking I am going crazy, begins running after me. I
ask a woman to help me find this dress. She tells me she doesn't have it
in stock, but she can ORDER it for me. I fell to the floor. I found it.
Not only was this woman whose name I will never forget (Rosemary) the
sweetest person I had met, she also gave me a discount on the dress.
![]() Months later, my dress comes in. I try it on and its PERFECT! I felt exactly how I wanted to. Like A Princess.
At a week before my wedding, I
picked up my dress. By now, the whole Idea that I was getting married
felt surreal. But as long as I had the dress and the man (marriage
license too...:) )everything was well in the world.
The day
of my wedding is a day I will cherish. Of course things went wrong,
nothing will ever go PERFECTLY how you planned, but nothing can ruin
your day unless you allow it to.
I put my dress on, grabbed my
bouquet, and was ready to go. Not realizing I didn't have my shoes on, I
had on sneakers, I began to walk out of my house. My mom once again
chasing after me telling me about my shoes, all I could do was laugh. I
change my shoes and get into my limo. Off to the church we go.
The rest of the night went smoothly. Right before my first dance, I
walked in with my VERY LONG TRAIN and my banquet manager whom was
wonderful was able to take my train off in a matter of seconds so that
by the time I turned, it was off and I was ready for my first dance.
I got so many compliments on my
dress, and that all because of PC Marys.
Thank-you for dressing me for
one of the most important days of my life.
Love
Mrs. Alyssa Colon
My name is Princess and I got married on September 20, 2003.
It was hard looking for a dress since I am very picky. But after trying out
so many dresses I finally found it. I saw it posted on a window of a bridal
shop that happened to be jus next door to my work. it was beautiful. I had
planned wearing it just as it was on the picture with it's veil, but in my
church I wasn't allowed to show any skin. so I had to turn it into a jacket.
the dress is beautiful and if you girls want to check it out I really
recommend it. my style dress is (S035125) .

Dear Mary's Bridal,
Ever since I was
little, I had a vision of my wedding gown. I wanted it
classy and big and poofy like Cinderella. I wanted
something I would remember for the rest of my life. I was very
disappointed to find that most of the dresses in bridal shops
were nothing I was looking for at all. I can't even believe that
some were marketed as bridal gowns! I wanted to be the most
beautiful thing Matt had ever seen on our wedding day. I
didn't feel I could do it in the gowns displayed at the bridal
stores. I was overjoyed when I stumbled upon the Mary's Bridal
website. So many dresses, so beautiful.. just the styles I
was looking for. I had 3 dresses selected from the
website. I'd tote those pics around with me to all the
bridal stores and was disgusted at the lack of help I received
about these dresses. I took matters into my own hands and went
through every dress on every rack in this area. Then, a miracle
after months of searching. I caught a glimpse of something
beautiful. It was a shoulder strap of something even more
beautiful. How could anyone squish this gown back away
from public eye? I immediately pulled it out! IT WAS
THE ONE! It was a Mary's!! #S008204 from the
Unspoken Romance Collection!! It was my favorite one.. it
wasn't my size, but I just had to try it on! With a little
assistance, the gown was pulled together so I could "get an
idea" of what it would look like on me. I couldn't
breathe.. I couldn't do anything but just stare at my reflection
in the mirror. That evening, I ordered the dress in my
size. I couldn't wait!!
*~*October 9, 2004*~*
Matthew and I were
married at 4pm at the Sanctuary Golf Course in Scottsdale,
Arizona. It was a perfect day.. sunny, 90s, intimate,
sunset was beautiful. My mother in law was teary when she saw me
in my gown. That meant the world to me. Our ceremony
was intimate with only our parents as guests. We had a perfect
day. And many beautiful pictures to show for it.
We danced on the green at sunset. That detachable train
(velcro) came in mighty handy!! I remember Matt's words at
sunset that day, "I will never forget how beautiful you look
right now for as long as I live. I'm so lucky to have you
as my wife". I loved the attention I received in my gown,
so I wore it again after our honeymoon for our reception in
Indiana. I could not get enough of those "you look just
like Cinderella" comments from the young'ins!!
We are still every much
in love. We have since built our first house and are expecting
a baby April 2006. Thank you Mary's for helping
making my dream wedding come true. I hope that one day our
daughter will be fortunate to wear one of your gowns on her
wedding day.
God Bless,

Dear Mary's Bridal:
My husband, Sam, and I were married on
March 2, 2007 in a beautiful wedding chapel in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee,
and I wore style number S075733 from the Fairy Tale Princess
collection. I felt just like a princess!
When I tried on this beautiful gown at
the shop, I knew I had to have it. I couldn't decide if I would use the
coral pink bow or the white one, they were both so beautiful. I decided
to go with the white bow and it was gorgeous! Thank you for giving me
that choice. The wrap and purse were perfect additions to this gown. I
have had so many compliments on this gown.
We plan to re-new our vows sometime in
the future, since I want to wear this beautiful dress for a second time
and be a princess and marry my handsome prince all over again!
Thank you for making such a gorgeous
dress.
Living happily ever after,
Vickie J. Cobb
I just wanted to thank you for making such a beautiful dress. When I seen this dress online it took my breath away I knew that this was the dress that I had to have. I am a mother and grandmother and this is the first time I have worn a wedding dress and it was so worth the wait. Mary’s you made my day perfect. I felt like a princess... Shannon Averett
Dear Mary's Bridal, Thanks so much for making the perfect wedding dress for my special day! I tried on several dresses, but none of them made me feel the way this one did! So, I special ordered it for my August 13, 2005 wedding. I couldn't have imagined wearing any other dress! I loved it so much that I ordered my Bridesmaids dresses from Mary's as well! The dresses complimented mine perfectly and looked beautiful on all of the girls! Thanks for being such a big part of my wedding day! Sincerely,
I and my husband were married on June 4th 2005. I fell in
love with my Mary's dress from the moment I saw it in a magazine. I
wasn't sure I was going to be able to purchase it because the wedding was
only 3 months away and I had never seen the dress in person before and that
made me nervous so I searched for other dresses and every dress I tried on I
kept comparing to the mary's dress. I found a bridal shop who said
they could get me the dress on time and I was elated! I was nervous waiting
for my mary's dress to arrive, but when it did it was everything I imagined
it would be and more! My husband loved my dress, and everyone said I looked
like a princess on my wedding day and I couldn't believe that I could look
as beautiful as I felt! Thank You
The first dress I saw when I opened the Bridal Magazine
was Style 6160. I instantly fell in love with it. Sadly I could not afford
it as our wedding was on a very tight budget. I bought another dress but
still kept on thinking about that gorgeous gown. A few months before my
wedding I confessed to my husband that I hated my dress and that I had found
my dream dress. Wonderful man that he is, he told me if it meant that much
to me he would find a way to buy it, and he did. I

My husband Aaron was in the Marines for 4 yrs and decided to join
the National Guard shortly after the September 11th tragedy occurred.
We met at a club on Thurs. April 18, 2002, after he had been activated
to guard a major Cleveland Airport for several months. After dating
long-distance for 7 months, Aaron moved to Cleveland in December of
2002. He proposed to me on New Years Eve of '02, after I had worked a
long 3-11 shift at the hospital where I'm a nurse. He had my parent's
backyard deck all "decked out" with a candle and red rose petal path,
which led to the patio table which was decorated with hearts a rock that
said "Love" on it (which is also my middle name), and a card telling me
how much he loved me. When I was done reading it, I turned and he was on
one knee asking me to marry him.
I had gone dress shopping with my sister (My Maid of Honor) and once I put on the Mary's style #F017171, I knew it was the one. My sister and I went back a few days later with our mom. When I put it on her exact words were: "Oh, this is totally you Stephanie; I couldn't even picture you in anything else". I knew after hearing my mom say that, that it definitely was the one. We were married on the warmest day we had this past spring-April 18, 2004. I was so excited that I finally got to wear my gown, which I had tried on SO many times! My favorite thing about the dress was the detachable train. It was wonderful to just detach the 15lb piece of fabric and dance around freely all night! Thanks Mary's!

I just had to share my love story with you. I met my husband almost 4 years ago when he fixed my car for me. His brother, who also worked there, suggested he try to introduce himself the next time I went in to have my car serviced. He wasn't able to do that but he did catch a glimpse of me and decided to send me a note through the mail to ask if I would be interested in getting to know him - he said I had great eyes and a beautiful smile. WOW - a real old fashioned gentleman. When I met him for our first date I had no idea who he was or what he would look like. I hit the jackpot - he is absolutely wonderful. We were married on June 29, 2002. The winter before the wedding I handed him a stack of pictures of wedding gowns from bridal magazines. I asked him to look through and eliminate the ones he really didn't like. He was a good sport and did just that. A while later he handed me back a much smaller stack! and said "I like all of these but I really love this one" and handed me a picture of dress # S008238. I couldn't believe he picked my favorite! I had to find that dress! I did, thankfully, and I just have to tell you I got so many compliments on it - I truly felt like a princess. The craftsmanship was impeccable - the detail on the dress was exquisite - and the price was so reasonable! My groom was so shocked when I walked down the aisle in that dress! Good luck to all future brides - enjoy every minute - it is your day - and enjoy married life! Sincerely

My husband and I met through a friend almost 5 years ago. I knew that he was the one even before our first date. He was so handsome and so kind. 2 1/2 years later he surprised me with a beautiful engagement ring. He asked me to marry him when we stopped by the lake while riding our bikes. It was the perfect proposal. He got down on one knee and I immediately started to cry. He actually thought I didn't like the ring. They were definitely tears of joy. Here are some pictures of our winter wedding day. The girls are wearing dresses made from crushed velvet in cranberry. They were made specially by a friend along with the faux fur muffs. It was truly the winter wedding I had always dreamed of. Thanks to Mary's for the beautiful gown and help set off the winter theme. I was married on December 1st 2001 and wore a Mary's wedding gown # 8266. I wanted to tell you that even though that was eight months ago already I still get compliments on the dress. It is very unique. I was looking for a winter dress and when I put that one on I knew it was the one. I thought it would be nice to give some feedback and let you know that the dress was so well liked . This dress fit me beautiful I loved it so much it was perfect I felt like a princess with it on. I refer all the future brides to visit Mary's bridal its the best investment you will ever make thank you for making my day complete. Sincerely

I saw the gown online during the summer of 2001. I fell in love with it! I printed the picture, and hid it from my boyfriend, because we weren't engaged yet and I didn't want to scare him. He proposed to me in November 2001. I brought the picture to DuBois Bridal in Green Bay, and told them, "I want this dress in platinum". The manager of DuBois told me that the style that I picked out had been discontinued!" But since Mary's Bridal had a little platinum fabric left over, they said that they could make me one from scratch! (AWESOME!) That's what they did ... the dress was absolutely gorgeous, and perfect! At my wedding, I got an infinite number of compliments on the dress. Everybody said, "I've never seen a platinum dress ... It's gorgeous ... I love it". Here are a few pictures from my wedding. You made my dress especially for me! It was beautiful! Thank You, |

My husband and I met online in the winter of 1998. We were friends for a few years and finally in September of 2001 we fell in love. After our engagement in September of 2002, it was time to pick out the gown I wanted to wear in my wedding. I was so very picky I thought I would never find "the dress"! But then I saw a picture of Mary's Couture Style: #F026160 and I fell in love with it! After much searching I located a bridal shop 2 hours from my home that could order the dress for me. I have never looked as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and I received hundreds of compliments on my gown! Today my dress sits in my closet begging to
be worn. I wonder how the people at the grocery store would react if I
wore it to pick up some apples. Hehe. Bethany and Tony Annechino
